Summary: Josep Perelló is a Lecturer at the Departament de Física Fonamental of the Universitat de Barcelona. He has a BA and PhD in Physics from the same university. His main research field can be linked to the study of financial markets from two different points of view: (1) market modelling with stochastic differential equations and with continuous time random walk formalism; and (2) the price formation and book of double auction market departing from the agent's collective behaviour. He has been coordinator and speaker in the courses: "Sciences and Arts: scenes of a (im)possible love" (2003) and "Sciences and Arts: sparks of love" (2004). He has also commissioned the exhibition "Physics of Aesthetics" (2005) and is the director of the international meeting New Frontiers of Science, Art and Thought in La Pedrera in the editions of 2005, 2006, and 2007: "Physics of Aesthetics", "Collective Intelligence", “Out of equilibrium”. He has written articles for different local newspapers and international journals on science-art interaction and he has recently published "Teoria de l'striptease aleatori"
