Language is a fluid, ever evolving system that is built up creatively and socially coordinated whenever we speak. Professor Luc Steels will show several examples of language game experiments with humanoid robots that help us to understand fundamental issues related to the origins of language and meaning and how symbol systems can become shared in a population.
